The practice being offered for sale is a solo practitioner office, very close to the main shopping district in Burlingame. It generates an average annual gross income of $290K on a 30 hour doctor work week. The office is open Monday to Friday, with no current weekend hours. We have one full-time, and one part- time staff members. Both have been with the practice for over 10 years. The staff and I would be very happy to assist in the transition process.
The focus of the practice is to provide comprehensive visual care in a caring and friendly environment. A sizable number of our patients are 65 or over, so we monitor many of these patients for cataracts, glaucoma, macular issues, dry eyes, and a sundry of other issues. Contact lenses comprise a good portion of our armamentarium. We routinely fit spherical, toric, multi-focal, and toric/multifocal soft lenses. Less frequent but sometimes more challenging are our patients wearing RGP lenses, or who may
require specialty lenses for keratoconus.
